Reference Data Out Of Date

Symptoms

The system overall behaves strangely. Generally the application will start to behave strangely and you will not see things you expect to see.

This can include but is not limited to:

  1. Unable to select your Branch when creating a new client
  2. Risks / Questions Responses / Insurers do not appear as expected
  3. Dashboard and Report Data not showing correctly or as expected

Cause

The primary cause of this type of behaviour is your reference data has become out of date (it needs to be refreshed each day).

Resolution

There are 2 ways to refresh the reference data:

  1. The preferred option - simply log out of the application and log back in. Refreshing the reference data is a part of the login process.
  2. Click on the REFERENCE menu, then click on the Reload Reference Data option.
    You will then be asked to confirm that you wish to reload data.

    Please keep in mind that if you were for example in the middle of a transaction, that transaction will need to be closed before the changes can be picked up, so option 1 is highly recommended.
